About M.C. Law Group, LLC
M.C. Law Group, LLC is a U.S. immigration law firm headquartered in Fairfield, Connecticut, with additional offices in White Plains, New York and Sacramento, California. Founded in 2007 by Alex Meyerovich and Rahul Chakravartty, the firm has spent nearly two decades helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate every category of U.S. immigration law — from family-based green cards and asylum cases to E-1/E-2 investor visas, EB-5 immigrant investments, employment-based petitions, and removal defense.
We are deliberately a specialist firm. Immigration is the only area of law we practice. That single focus, combined with the depth and stability of our team, lets us handle the kinds of complex, document-intensive cases that often defeat general-practice firms — and to do so in a way that is responsive, communicative, and accountable to every client.

Our Team
In addition to the founding partners, M.C. Law Group is a 13-person team that includes associate attorneys, a paralegal team, and dedicated administrative and support staff. This depth allows us to maintain the document quality and responsiveness that complex immigration cases require — every petition we file is reviewed by at least one attorney and one paralegal before it leaves the office.
Our associate attorneys handle a full range of immigration matters under the supervision of the founding partners. Our paralegals are trained in the specific procedural requirements of family-based, employment-based, investor-based, and humanitarian cases. Our administrative and support team handles client intake, document collection, fee processing, and scheduling — the work that ensures nothing falls through the cracks during long-running immigration matters.
Many of our team members are themselves multilingual and routinely communicate with clients in their preferred language.
Languages We Practice In
Immigration law is, by definition, an international practice. Our team is selected in part for its multilingual capacity. We routinely conduct consultations, prepare documents, and represent clients in:
English, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Portuguese, Bengali, Hindu and Ukrainian.
If you prefer to communicate in a language not listed above, contact us — we work with vetted translators and interpreters and can almost always find a way to serve you in your native language.
Professional Recognition and Memberships
M.C. Law Group’s attorneys are active in the broader U.S. immigration bar and have been recognized by independent legal-industry rating organizations:
American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) — Our attorneys are active members of AILA, the national association of immigration lawyers. AILA membership signifies ongoing commitment to immigration-specific continuing legal education and to the ethical standards of the immigration bar.
Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent — The highest peer-reviewed rating from Martindale-Hubbell, awarded to attorneys whose colleagues rank them at the highest level of legal ability and ethical standards. Less than 5% of attorneys nationally receive this designation.
Connecticut Super Lawyers — A peer-nominated, third-party-vetted recognition awarded annually to lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in their practice area.
Avvo — Industry-leading attorney rating platform with public-facing reviews from former clients.

White Plains, New York — Our New York office serves Westchester County, the Lower Hudson Valley, and the broader New York metropolitan area. How Consultations Work
We use a two-tier consultation process designed to be efficient for both you and our team:
Free initial phone screening
Your first contact with our office is a brief, free phone conversation — typically 5 to 10 minutes — during which we listen to your situation, identify what category of case it may fall into, and determine whether it is something M.C. Law Group is the right firm to handle. This call is free, no-obligation, and the right starting point for anyone considering our representation.
To request a free phone screening, call 203-373-9080 or submit the contact form on this page.
Paid full consultation ($200 / 30 minutes)
If your case warrants a full case analysis — meaning we need to review documents, ask detailed questions about your immigration history, prior filings, and family circumstances, and provide you with a substantive strategy recommendation — we schedule a paid 30-minute consultation. The fee is $200, payable in advance.
If we agree to take on your case after the consultation, we apply the $200 consultation fee toward your legal fees.
We do not provide free full consultations. Immigration cases turn on details, and a competent strategy recommendation requires real attorney time. Charging for that time ensures the analysis you receive is thorough and individualized, not a generic sales pitch.
